We’re working on behalf of one of the UK’s leading and most established specialists in Managed Print Services and Workplace Technology, a business recognised for its scale, stability and ambition, and for providing its sales teams with the support, leadership and infrastructure needed to operate at the highest level.
As part of a long-term growth strategy across the North of Scotland, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Account Director to manage and develop key Mid-Market and Enterprise clients, while also driving new business growth through strategic opportunities, tenders and complex sales engagements.
This is a senior, high-impact role designed for an individual who wants to focus on winning, developing and maximising high-value client relationships, with the backing of one of the strongest management teams and support functions in the industry.
The Opportunity
This role combines strategic account ownership with new business leadership, operating at a level where relationships, credibility and commercial judgement are critical.
You will:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of Mid-Market and Enterprise-level clients, developing long-term account strategies to maximise value and retention
- Drive new business growth through tender opportunities, complex sales cycles and high-value engagements
- Lead client conversations at senior stakeholder and board level
- Position Managed Print Services as the core solution, supported by: Managed IT Services – Document & Workflow Solutions – Scanning & Automation – Workplace & Communication Technologies
- Work closely with senior internal stakeholders, technical specialists and solution teams to deliver joined-up, outcome-focused solutions
- Play a key role in the continued development and success of the region
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across a portfolio of high-value clients
- Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities, including public and private sector tenders
- Manage complex sales processes from opportunity identification through to contract negotiation and close
- Maximise recurring and expansion revenue through cross-sell, upsell and contract renewal strategies
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and reporting via CRM
- Act as a senior representative of the business within the regional market
