Our client is one of Central Scotland’s leading independent Lettings & Estate Agencies, operating several established offices across the region. They are known for their strong people-first culture, high staff engagement, and a supportive, professional working environment that genuinely sets them apart.
Due to continued growth across the business, they are now looking to appoint a proactive, commercially minded Lettings Agent to support and drive increased lettings performance across the Greater Glasgow area. This role offers real variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a visible impact within a respected independent agency.
The Role
As a Lettings Agent, you will take ownership of the lettings process from instruction through to move-in, with a strong emphasis on winning new business and delivering excellent service to landlords and tenants.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Winning new landlord instructions through proactive business development and relationship management
- Carrying out rental valuations and advising landlords on pricing and market conditions
- Managing the full lettings journey, from marketing and viewings through to offer, negotiation, and move-in
- Registering applicants and matching tenants to suitable properties
- Negotiating rents and terms to secure successful lets
- Ensuring all compliance and regulatory requirements are met in line with Scottish lettings legislation
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with landlords and tenants
- Promoting and cross-selling the full range of lettings and property services
- Maintaining accurate records using CRM and property management systems
- Monitoring local competitor activity and using market insight to win new business
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across lettings and sales to maximise every opportunity
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience within residential lettings or property services
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
- Confident communicator, comfortable meeting clients face-to-face
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and administration skills
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude
- Good working knowledge of Scottish lettings legislation (or a willingness to develop this knowledge)
- A genuine commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
- Full UK driving licence
- (ARLA / Propertymark or similar qualifications are desirable but not essential.)
