About the Role
Our client is a leading provider of high-volume production print devices, solutions, and managed print services, partnering with world-class manufacturers to deliver advanced printing technology and tailored workflows to a diverse range of clients.
As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a talented and results-driven Business Development Manager to win new business and expand key accounts across Central and Southern Scotland.
This role focuses on selling production-level multifunction print devices—capable of exceptional quality, high-speed output, and advanced finishing—into commercial print operations, in-plant facilities, and enterprise environments.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business acquisition and grow revenues within an established regional client base.
- Sell high-volume, professional-grade print devices and solutions designed for demanding production environments.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and solution scoping through to proposal, negotiation, and contract close.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to create tailored, workflow-driven solutions that deliver measurable client value.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, focusing on efficiency, cost savings, and ROI.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver reliable sales forecasts.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience selling production print devices and solutions for high-volume, high-quality print applications.
- Strong technical understanding of digital press workflows, colour management, media handling, and finishing equipment.
- Consultative sales style with the ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and commercial skills.
- Motivated, resilient, and target-focused, with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Central & Southern Scotland.
The Reward
- Basic Salary up to £45,000
- Car Allowance of £7,200 per year or Company Car
- Up to 30% commission, uncapped – realistic OTE of £90,000+
