As an ambitious and highly progressive organisation, they have an opportunity for a trainee business development professional to join their Aberdeenshire regional sales team and help drive acquisition performance across the Small to Medium business portfolio.

This is a field-based position, and the successful applicant will assume responsibility for:

  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Director to develop and deliver a new business sales plan by Identifying and cultivating new prospects within the region
  • Advise each prospective client on how to improve the performance and cost within their business technology environment
  • Deliver pricing proposals which ensure margin performance is achieved
  • Eventually manage the entire sales process to a close and facilitate seamless client onboarding
  • Maintain an accurate record of existing and prospective client activity by effectively updating the company CRM
  • Schedule attendance at relevant networking events and industry conferences

Candidates will likely possess the following skills, experience, and personal attributes:

  • 2+ years’ experience gained within a telesales, retail sales or field sales environment
  • A positive, energetic, enthusiastic, and focused approach with strong resilience and determination for success
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver presentations to a wide range of clients
  • A consultative approach and ability to pinpoint improvement areas to ensure each client achieves a ‘purpose built’ and bespoke solution
